Artwork Description
In this self portrait, I am morphed with an abstract peach tree that bleeds and melts into the fiery background. This is what Texas summers feel like, so I take the stone fruit as the natural cure for summertime blues.
Part of my "Plant Lady" watercolor marker series where I took the basic elements of an anchoring circle, plant matter, and a female figure to make associations with a hidden personal meaning.
Original Drawing: 9 x 12 inches
